Hi, I'm Jacksyn, I was adopted in August 2012. My favourite things to do include collecting sticks, chasing my ball, snuggling with my humans, playing with my alligator, belly scratches and wrestling. I get to play with my friends every Wednesday & Saturday at the dog park. My parents think I'm a very good boy and they love me SO much!
"My aunties are identical twins... I only like one of them"
Hi! My name is Luke Skywalker. I spent the first few months of my life on a farm until my humans brought me home. I am super friendly, outgoing and just love to be loved.
My name is Edith Rose. Before I was adopted into my forever home, I was fending for myself and ten of my puppies near Saskatchewan. That was exhausting! It took a long time and a lot of patience to get me back to health and to get me to trust people. But, now, I’m pretty good. I love my family and I have so much fun with them. Every day, I wake up and wonder what adventures will come to me. I love to play in the river and chase squirrels up trees and eat lunch. Those are probably my top three hobbies. But, I really just love living with my new family in my new home.
My name is Billy but I used to be called Zeke. I came to PMRF after a really rough start to my life. As a result, I am still pretty scared of strangers but I am beginning to trust humans again. I love playing with my ‘stuffies’ and cuddling with my family.
It took quite a while for me to find my forever family but they really love me and now I have 2 doggy sisters and one doggy brother.
I am really happy now but would be even happier if I could be in your 2018 calendar!!

Theodore enjoys the snow, but he requires a little bit of extra warmth for his head. His favourite toque will do the trick!
My name is Buddha and I was adopted from PMRF in August 2013. I was brought over from Soi Dog in Thailand where I spent 9 months living in a shelter. I was getting bullied by the other dogs and I needed to get out of there and find my forever family. My parents love me so much! I am included in everything that they do. I love a good game of chase - and I always win. Thanks PMRF for finding the perfect life for me!
My sweet, beautiful Maya was the first of my 3 adopted dogs from PMRF. Her favourite pastimes were running around and playing with her buddies, Hershey and Monty, basking in the sun on the deck, eating (of course!!) and watching by the window for her family to come home.
This is Rogue and she thinks she can get anything she wants when she uses her big puppy dog eyes……It's mostly true, especially when it comes to getting her humans to play with her or give her treats.
Finn, previously Kahlua, came in to our lives 1 year ago from Pawsitive Match. He is a senior dog, with a HUGE personality. He is always at the front door with his best friend, Laci, waiting for us to come home and greet us with a wagging tail and a run around the house. He has brought so many smiles and a lot of love in to our house hold.
This is CC who recently passed away at 16 years of age.
CC was the most unusual kitty. My sister found her in Saskatchewan at a lake called Cochin.
CC insisted on coming home with her and her husband.
She made herself right at home and rather took over the house!
She would meet you at the door, sit on your computer keyboard (just to help out), run off to visit the neighbours and always up to what was cooking on that counter!
She was a travelling cat too. Saskatchewan to Alberta to BC back to AB and finally back to BC.
There was never a kitty like her and she is dearly missed.
Hello! My name is Miggy and I am a happy, high energy 2yo boy! I was adopted from Pawsitive Match in August 2016 and boy, was I timid and anxious back then - seems like a lifetime ago! I love to run, jump, swim and cuddle on the couch. The only thing I dislike more than baths and carrots is when my cat-brother Nim gets rubs and kisses instead of me! Please vote for me!
This is 6yo Betty (striped kitty) and her 3yo brother Nim! They are the reluctant cat-siblings of dog Miggy. When Betty and Nim are not chasing each other around the house or hunting for mice in the backyard, they are battling for the top of their 6ft tall cat tower. Please vote for these two beautiful kitties!
My husband Miles and I adopted Moki (previously Petra) in August of last year after a lot of research and deliberation. We both had fallen in love with her and knew she was perfect for us. As a part of our family, she has brought a lot of laughter and play. Clever, quick and ALWAYS ready to go she is a lot to keep up with! Her favorite place is the dog park, she socializes so well and just wants to chase and be chased. She has found a routine with resident cat Marty that is as obnoxious as it is hilarious. We don't know what we would be doing without her but I know it wouldn't be as fun!
Hi! My name is Ricky and I have been the happiest dog in the world since my family adopted me in December 2016. One of my most favourite things to do is play catch until my humans force me to stop, as I would play until I was beyond exhausted! My second favourite thing is to snuggle on the couch with my humans, both big and small, but I always forget how big I am and that I'm not a lap dog (even though I still seem to wind up on their lap). My fur-sister and I also love to play tug-of-war and even though she's much smaller than me, she sure can hold her own! I know I have completed my family, thanks PMRF!
Hello! My name is Sweet Pea. I was adopted last year in November from PMRF to my forever home. My human says she fell in love with my eyes... I love to sleep with her (she says she sleeps better if I am there) - play with my feather fishing rod & follow her around the house to see what she is doing. I greet her at the door with a meow when she returns from where ever humans spend time.
Graciana (Graci) is a PMRF alum. As Maggie May (name change because we already had a cat Maggie), she was fostered by Colleen and her mother in Dec 2007 . We adopted her right before Christmas that year, so she’s been part of our family for over 9 years. At 11ish, she’s still in great shape, as befits a poodle/lab, bichon,/chiuahua, and Staffordshire terrier. Mutts rule! She’s one of a kind, and we get asked every walk, “What kind of dog is that?”

Rhyder was just 8 weeks old when he joined us on our new acreage. We couldn’t have asked for a better companion. He loves the open space to run and make his own. This picture is from his “vacation” at our parent’s farm while we were away.
Hi! My name is Thor and my favourite thing in the whole world is cuddling… even though my hoomans say I’m not a “lap dog”… whatever that means! I was adopted from PMRF in January 2013, and my family can’t imagine life without me. I also like to play tug-of-war with my 2 brothers, stamp my paws and wag my whip-like tail when I’m excited, and go hiking! I sure am a happy boy and would love to be in your calendar that supports a great cause. Thanks!
Age: 1.5 Years
Breed: Lab/ Boxer/ Pitbull (actually unknown - was a rescue)
Overall: Pretty awesome dog!
Cheers! Bryn & Andrew (the Humans)
