About Blondie

Hi, I’m Blondie — your future adventure buddy, snuggle partner, and all-around sunshine girl!

If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate young dog who’s eager to love, eager to learn, and eager to explore the world, I might just be your perfect match. My foster family says I have a wonderful temperament and the sweetest heart — I’m friendly with everyone I meet and always excited to make new friends.

I’m great with adults, strangers, and kids (especially those 5+ who understand how to be gentle with dogs). I’ve also been beautifully polite meeting other dogs, from tiny 10-pound cuties all the way up to big 40-pound gals. I read the room really well and adjust my energy to the dogs around me. I even live with an 18-year-old cat and have been respectful and calm — what can I say? I’m a lady.

Inside the home, I love stuffies, snuggles, and hanging out with my people. Outside, I’m full of enthusiasm! I adore yard time, sniffing, exploring, and going for walks. I do pull at first — okay, I really pull for the first 15–20 minutes because I’m excited — but I’m already improving with training. I’m young, eager, and such a blank slate that a dedicated adopter will have so much fun teaching me new things. I’ve already learned “sit” and I’m working hard on “stay,” “come,” and name recall.

I’m housetrained, sleep through the night, and can be left home for short periods after a walk — I’ll curl up and nap once I’m tired out. I’m not destructive, not a barker, and not reactive. Truly, I’m just a sweet, active girl who needs structure, praise, and daily exercise.

My biggest “work in progress” is the car. I’m amazing in the car, but I’m still nervous getting into it, so I need patience, encouragement, and sometimes a little boost to hop in. I’ve already made tons of progress, and I know I’ll get the hang of it soon!

My ideal home?
An outdoorsy, active family who wants a young dog to train, love, and bring along on adventures. A home with a yard is a must — being outside brings me so much joy. I’d thrive in a family excited to take me to classes, work on leash skills, and celebrate each milestone as I blossom into the incredible dog I’m meant to be.

I may be a “blank slate,” but I’ve already shown my foster family that I’m smart, loving, goofy, and incredibly trainable. I have the potential to be an amazing family dog, adventure companion, and loyal best friend.

If you’re ready to help a sweet, sunny girl grow into her very best self… I’m ready to meet you.

Love,
Blondie
