About Bradley
Hi, I’m Bradley
Handsome. Energetic. Velcro dog. Professional bed hog.
I’m a smart, affectionate boy who bonds quickly with my people and takes my job as your shadow very seriously. If personal space is important to you… we may need to talk, because once I love you, I’m all in—snuggling, following you around, and sometimes laying directly on top of you just to be extra sure we’re close.
I’m an active guy who loves getting out and doing things. A good 30-minute walk or a fun play session (fetch is a favourite!) will have me happily snoozing for hours afterward. I don’t need marathon adventures—just consistent outlets for my energy and brain. I’d do fine without a yard as long as I get daily walks and playtime.
I love people and have shown no fear or reactivity toward strangers, men, or women. I can get mouthy when I’m excited (classic young-dog enthusiasm), so a home with dog-savvy older kids or teens would be best. I respond really well to redirection—hand me a chew toy and I’m good to go.
Dogs? I’m still learning my manners. I want to be friends, but sometimes I forget about personal space and boundaries. With confident, patient dogs and clear guidance from my humans, I have the potential to be a great dog sibling—but I may also thrive as the only dog where I can soak up all the attention.
I’m housetrained, leash trained, food motivated, and know sit and paw (stay is coming along!). I walk nicely in my harness and ride well in the car—usually curled up like a perfect passenger prince.
Crates are a work in progress for me. Right now, I get stressed when crated and may whine or bark, especially since I’ve only just arrived and am still settling in. I do much better when I’m near my people, and with time, consistency, and the right setup, this is something I can improve on.
I’m not fearful, not aggressive, and not destructive—I just have a lot of feelings and a lot of love. I steal socks sometimes (purely for chewing purposes), but I’m gentle with them and happy to trade.
My ideal home would be active but not chaotic, loving but structured, and full of people who understand that young, eager dogs need guidance as much as affection. If you’re patient, consistent, and don’t mind a dog who wants to be very close to you, I promise to be an incredible companion.
Love,
Bradley
