Hola, amigos!
I’m Captain — or Capitán if you speak my native tongue (¡sí, soy un chico Mexicano muy guapo!). I’m the 8-pound rocket of joy, affection, and fun you didn’t know your life was missing.

Let’s get the basics out of the way: I’m adorable. Like, stop-traffic-in-your-neighborhood adorable. Big brown eyes, cat-like jumps, and ears that have their own fan club. But I’m not just a pretty face. I’m also a world-class fetcher, tug-of-war champion, and an Olympic-level runner with energy for days. I zoom, I bounce, I play hard and love harder.

I might be small, but I come with BIG feelings. I’m not aggressive — I’m just still figuring this whole “new life in Canada” thing out. I can bark at unfamiliar noises, especially thunder or fireworks (yikes), and sometimes I get anxious when I’m left alone, or when big dogs get too close. But give me a few toys, a cozy pen, and a good bully stick, and I settle in pretty well.

I’m currently working on potty training and leash manners — okay, okay, so I might not be fluent in Canadian dog etiquette yet, but I’ve got heart, brains, and a foster mom who says I’m a fast learner. Also, it might help if you try Spanish — I definitely know a few things en español. ¡Vamos afuera!

My ideal home? Someone active who’ll walk me (lots!), play with me, teach me tricks, and give me room to zoom in a backyard with a very secure fence (I’m basically a tiny Houdini). I’d love a family with older kids or a single person who enjoys a dog with spirit. Bonus points if you like fetch, speak a bit of Spanish, or are down to sign us up for a tiny dog agility class.

Oh, and don’t be fooled by my size — I’m not a purse dog or a lap potato. I do like cuddles, but on my terms. Most of the time I just want to lay nearby while you marvel at how cute I am.
