About Havana
It’s me, Havana — but my friends call me Panda. Probably because I’m cute, cuddly, and a little round when I’ve had one too many treats (hey, I’m working on it).
I’ve been waiting patiently for my forever home, and while my foster family has been absolutely wonderful, I’m ready to find my person — the one who throws the ball just right, shares the couch (and maybe the bed), and doesn’t mind that I have a bit of a… talent for locating unguarded snacks. (Counter surfers unite.)
Let me tell you what I bring to the table (besides my nose and occasional paws):
I’m housetrained, crate-trained, and know my basic commands. I’m super affectionate, loyal, and I love to be outside — whether it’s walking, sniffing, playing ball, or channeling my inner frisbee champion. I sleep like a dream, snuggle like a pro, and I’m calm and gentle in the house… unless the garbage is out, then it’s just too tempting. You’ve been warned.
I’m great with other dogs on walks and adore my playdates. I’m also getting better with strangers — give me a little time and some treats and I’ll be cuddled up next to you before you know it. Loud noises or strange environments used to make me nervous, but I’ve been building confidence and learning that the world isn’t so scary after all.
My ideal home? A quieter one, maybe with a backyard where I can run and fetch to my heart’s content. I’d love a person who’s around more often than not (or at least someone who doesn’t mind a little extra supervision when it comes to leftovers). I could probably live with a respectful dog friend and older kids who understand I need a bit of time to warm up.
So, if you’ve got a comfy lap, a love for the outdoors, and a securely closed garbage can — I think we might be perfect for each other.
Waiting for you with paws crossed,
Havana (aka Panda) 🐾
