Hi friends, I’m Hettie — your new best pal and professional tail-wagger!

If you’re looking for a dog who radiates love and joy wherever she goes, that’s me! I’m a happy, affectionate girl who loves everyone I meet — kids, grown-ups, and fellow pups alike. I have a big heart and an even bigger smile, and my favorite things include cuddling, chewing on toys, and soaking up every bit of attention I can get.

Right now, I’m recovering from elbow surgery, but don’t worry — it doesn’t slow me down much! I’ve still got that youthful sparkle and can’t wait to get back to longer walks and playtime once I’m all healed. I’m very food-motivated (great for training!), already housetrained, and I sleep soundly through the night in my crate.

I love other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine playmate. Cats, though… well, I just find them a little toointeresting, so I think I’d do best in a cat-free home. I can get excited and jump up sometimes, but I’m learning my manners quickly — I’m smart and eager to please!

My dream home? An active family who loves to play and snuggle in equal measure. A yard to romp in would be amazing, but mostly I just want humans who will love me as much as I’ll love them.
