About Jackie

Hi, I’m Jackie, and I’d like to formally apply for the role of Best Girl Ever in your household. I come with excellent references (ask my foster family — they’ll gush), a deep love of snuggling, and a serious passion for green grass and cozy couches.

Let me paint you a picture: Imagine a calm, sweet pup who follows you from room to room like a quiet little shadow. That’s me. I don’t bark much, I don’t destroy anything, and my biggest crime so far is occasionally convincing you to carry me from one soft surface to another.

I’m super affectionate and love belly rubs, head scratches, and being close to my people — couch snuggles are my love language. I’ve got polite house manners, I’m house-trained, and I’m learning some basic commands like sit (nailed it!) and stay (working on it).

Outdoors? Oh baby. I’m in my element. I love zooming in the backyard, flopping in the grass, and soaking up the sunshine. On walks, I may pull a little if something exciting catches my eye (hello squirrels!), but I’m generally a lovely leash companion.

I’ve met a few dogs and I’m… cautious. I might growl a little at dogs my size or bigger, but nothing dramatic — I just need slow, respectful intros and a family who understands that I like to take my time making new friends. I haven’t met any kids yet, but I’m very gentle with adults, so older, calm kids might be just fine.

Here’s what I’m dreaming of in my forever home:

A fenced yard where I can stretch my legs and roll in the grass.

Humans home most of the time who are into cuddles, snacking, and letting me nap nearby.

A soft bed (yours or mine — I’m flexible).

Maybe a dog sibling… maybe not. I’m open to meeting the right pup.

And definitely no chicken kibble, please. I’m fancy like that.

I’m a quiet companion with a heart full of love, looking for someone who wants to share lazy mornings, peaceful evenings, and all the snuggles in between.
