About Molly
Hi… my name is Molly. I’m not the kind of dog that will rush up to you or jump in your lap right away. In fact, if I had it my way, I’d probably peek at you from a cozy little hiding spot until I’m sure you’re kind. But please don’t mistake my fear for anything else — I’m so gentle, and deep down, I really do want to feel safe and loved. I’m just still learning how.
You see, I’ve been through some things, and right now, the world feels a little big and a little loud. People? New places? Unexpected noises? They all make me nervous. But I’ve made a lot of quiet progress in my foster home already. I’ve started taking treats from a human hand (brave, I know), and sometimes I come out of my crate just to be near the soft voices I’m getting used to. No barking, no chewing, no messes — just tiny paw steps toward trust.
I use pee pads and always keep my sleeping space clean. Walks are still a little too scary for me, but I’ll get there with time, patience, and gentle encouragement. Right now, the best thing in the world is a safe crate, a calm environment, and a human who sees the spark in me even when I’m hiding.
I’m not ready for busy places, loud kids, or chaotic adventures just yet. But I am ready for someone who will love me exactly as I am and walk with me at my pace. My ideal home is quiet, with a kind-hearted person who believes in second chances and understands that some of us need a little longer to blossom.
If you’re looking for a sweet, silent companion who just wants to feel safe, I’m here… waiting quietly, but hopefully.
With love,
Molly
