About Tatiana

Hi! I’m Tatiana—but my friends call me T. I’m a pocket-sized powerhouse of pep, paws, and personality, and I’m currently accepting applications for the position of lifelong adventure partner (that’s you, hopefully). If you’ve got a soccer ball, a squeaky toy, or a comfy couch, we’re already halfway to a love story.

Let’s get this out of the way: I’m adorable. I know it. You know it. But I’m not just a pretty face—I’m full of P & V (that’s pep and vinegar, in case you’re new to dog slang). I’m what humans call “high energy,” which means I love zooming around the yard, chasing my soccer ball, and going on walks. I get two a day right now, and honestly? I could go longer. The more action, the better!

I’m also a total lovebug. I adore cuddles, belly rubs, and head scratches. If you sit down, I will try to join you. If you’re cooking, I might get underfoot (just in case something drops!). And if you’re feeling down? I specialize in tail wags and face nudges to cheer you up.

That said, I do have a few… quirks. I’ve been told I “mouth” a little when I play. It’s just my way of showing enthusiasm, but because of that, I’d do better with older kids who understand dog behaviour (and who don’t resemble squeaky toys). I’m working on it, though! My foster parent is helping me learn my manners—and I really do want to be a good girl.

Potty training? Well… let’s call it a work in progress. I always go when we walk (especially if I can aim for a sidewalk—grass is weird, okay?), but sometimes I forget that rugs aren’t indoor bathrooms. We’re working on that too. Leash skills are also improving, but I do like to zigzag like I’m trying out for the squirrel Olympics.

I get along well with other dogs my size and have had fun with a few foster friends. I even charmed the neighbour’s kids and discovered I LOVE soccer thanks to them. I’ve shown a little food guarding when you mess with my bowl mid-meal (I mean, wouldn’t you?), so just give me space when I’m eating and all is well.

I’m good in the car, fine alone while you’re at work or volunteering, and not a big barker unless something needs announcing (like squirrels or neighbours with suspicious lawnmowers). I don’t have separation anxiety—unless you count separation from snacks.

My ideal home? I’d love a yard to zoom in, older kids to play with, maybe a dog buddy to chase around, and humans who are ready to continue helping me learn the ropes. Bonus points if you’re good at fetch or own more than one soccer ball.

So… what do you say? Is there room on your couch (and in your heart) for a sassy, snuggly, soccer-loving little lady like me?

Wiggly but hopeful,
Tatiana (T for short)
