Gentle heart. Big cuddler. Full-body tail wagger.

I might be a little shy when I first meet new people, but give me a moment to sniff you and I’ll be your best friend. Once I feel safe, I turn into the most loving, affectionate cuddle bug. My whole body wags when you say hi to me, and I’ll happily stick close by your side — I’m a bit of a shadow dog in the sweetest way.

I’ve met kids (including a toddler and a 10-year-old!) and did wonderfully — excited, gentle, and full of love. I’m friendly with other dogs too and absolutely love playing with my foster brother. I’ve mostly been around small dogs so far, but with proper introductions, I’d likely do well with bigger dogs as well.

I’m crate trained and actually really like my crate — it’s my cozy, safe space. I sleep through the night in it and can be left alone without any separation anxiety, which makes me a great fit for families who work outside the home. I’m mostly housetrained too, with just a few minor accidents as I continue learning routines.

My energy level is low and easygoing. Short walks are perfect for me, and I’m just as happy lounging, napping, or playing with toys. I’m not a high-maintenance or high-energy guy — I just want to be near my people (and maybe another dog friend).

I’m a bit sensitive to loud noises like vacuums or blenders, but I’ve already made great progress. At first I hid under the table, and now I calmly watch from nearby — go me! Car rides aren’t my favourite, but I settle in and usually fall asleep after a bit. I did great at the vet and handled it like a champ.

I’m affectionate, gentle, and incredibly sweet. I love being petted, held, cuddled, and snuggling up for naps. Toys are one of my favourite things, and I chew only on appropriate ones — no furniture drama here.

My ideal home would be a loving place where I can continue building confidence, maybe with another dog to play with, and people who enjoy a calm, cuddly companion. I’d do well in a house or apartment, with kids or without, as long as there’s love and patience.
