Help us protect our dogs and cats from disease and infection!
All the new dogs and cats that come into our rescue are seen by a vet for an initial checkup. They are also all given dewormer, vaccines, and are microchipped. You are helping pay for a rescue dog or cats first vet visit!
Pawsitive Match has several "Pawsitive Patients" - dogs and cats currently in our care who have required expensive medical treatment.
Meet one of our patients, Regeana: We received an urgent call about a puppy that was found laying in a ditch suffering. When our rescuer picked her up, it was unknown how long she had been laying there. She cried when she was moved but still greeted everyone with a wagging tail. Upon assessment we discovered multiple pelvic fractures, a deep puncture wound in the leg, as well as a broken leg. She required extensive surgery but is now recovering in a loving foster home, and will be available for adoption.
Some of the dogs coming from warmer climates like LA and Mexico need to be tested for various diseases they can contract from ticks. Thank you for helping us pay for these blood tests to ensure the dogs get the treatment that is required!
Some of our dogs have sensitive stomachs and require special food
Some of the new dogs in our care have various issues ranging from reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, etc. Some of them have never lived in a home so there is an adjustment period. Thank you for helping us get them on the right track!
Spay and neuter is so important in the world of rescue! Donate towards the spay or neuter of one of the cats in our care!

Sometimes the dogs that come into our care can be fearful and/or reactive. They have not had enough exposure or good experiences with other dogs and they can be unsure how to react. These training courses can put them and their fosters or adopters on the right track for success!
Some of the dogs and cats that come into our care need a good teeth cleaning!
This includes initial vet exam, first vaccines, microchips, and dewormer! This also includes food and supplies for the first 8 weeks of puppy care.
