Hey potential family! I’m Lyla, the happiest, sweetest, big furry dog you are going to meet. I’m the easygoing one at home, the dog who calmly and awkwardly wants to cuddle with you on the couch, taking up all your personal space; yet you reluctantly acknowledge to friends you love every minute of it! Yup I’m THAT big loveable dog.
And speaking of love, I love the outdoors! So much to smell, so much to see, so much to share with you! Take me on a walk or let me play outside in your fenced yard, and my grin will be ear-to-ear. My on-leash walking skills are pretty much nailed, I’d call it a nice meandering pace. Not too fast, not too slow. Just right (hmm sounds familiar). I do find all the goings on at the park to be very stimulating and sometimes I may get a bit over-curious (yup that’s a good way to say it) with what that squirrel has found in the tree, so you do need to keep a good hold of my leash. Maybe two hands, so leave that phone in your pocket.
My personality is somewhere between friendlier and friendliest. I absolutely adore people and even when a stranger at the park approaches, I just dive in and go for the big head scratch and body rub. It feels so good. You will quickly see I have lots of love to share!
And about the house rules, I got ‘em down pat. I’m both house and crate trained.
Now, about living arrangements, I’d love a backyard to hang out in; remember the ear-to-ear grin? And whether I’m with people, who I absolutely love, another dog (no cats please), or in a quiet house, I’m adaptable. Just make sure I get my daily walks (phone in pocket), and I’m a happy camper.
