About Shannon

Once upon a time, in a cozy temporary home, there lived a sweet soul named Shannon. That’s me! With a gentle spirit and a heart full of love, I’m ready to embark on my next adventure – finding my forever home!

First things first, I’m a big fan of humans – big ones, little ones, you name it! I absolutely adore cuddling up with my favorite people, and I’m always up for a snuggle session. Sometimes I get really excited when meeting little humans and jump up for a big ol’ smooch fest, but I’m working on keeping all four paws on the ground! I appreciate a bit of gentle reassurance from men to help me feel safe at first. But once I’ve warmed up to them, I’m all in for belly rubs and snuggles galore!

Now, let’s talk about my favorite things. I absolutely love going for walks and sniffing around with my curious nose and exploring everything in sight. I’m slowly getting a warm Canadian coat which means more walks for me!  And treats? Oh boy, don’t even get me started – they’re the way to my heart!

I pride myself on being a well-behaved pup. I never chew on things I shouldn’t, I only hop up on the couch when invited, and I’m good in my crate during the day or roaming the house. I’m a good listener too – just say the word, and I’ll sit or shake a paw for a tasty treat! Oh, and did I mention I’m a pro at sleeping through the night in my cozy crate or on my bed? Yep, not a peep out of me!

Of course, I have a couple of quirks too. Who doesn’t? I can be a bit vocal when I’m startled by new things (what the heck is a snow plow anyway?), or when I see something really interesting out the window and hear other dogs expressing their excitement. But I’m learning quickly!

As I dream of finding my forever home, I imagine a place where I can curl up for plenty of snuggles and with a little love and patience, I know I’ll fit right in. So, what do you say? Are you ready to welcome a sweet pup like me into your heart and home?

Shannon was born approximately March 2022 and is a medium sized dog.
