About Winnie

Winnie is ever so winning in her lush wintry white coat!

Passionate about being outdoors in the yard, able to entertain herself endlessly with her toys, she’s grown more comfortable being indoors thanks to the patience and reassurance of her foster mom. Sweet and sociable, she thrives on attention, adores having her head scratched and is touchingly gentle with the resident 14-month-old toddler.

Combining affection with activity, she loves going for walks (she’s walked once a day for between 40 and 60 minutes), walking wonderfully on leash, is quick to approach strangers, from small children and adults to seniors, and avidly accepts every pet she receives from them.

Eagerly engaging other easygoing and friendly dogs in play, she rides comfortably in the car with her head out the window, is fully housetrained and at work on responding to her name and on such basic commands as “come,” “sit” and “stay.”

Now all Winnie wants is to win the hearts of a loving family with a large, securely fenced yard that will teach her all of her commands, pamper and groom her, and keep her content, mentally and physically, fur-ever.

Winnie is approximately 2 years old and weighs 55 pounds.
