Hello there! I’m Rene, and I’ve been waiting eagerly to tell you all about myself. Let me start by saying I’m a special little dude, full of puppy sweetness, playfulness, and spunk.

First things first, I absolutely adore people. I mean, seriously, I haven’t met a soul yet that I didn’t want to befriend. I’ll nudge my way through anything just to score some bum scratches. And those puppy dog eyes? Well, let’s just say they’re my secret weapon for snagging couch cuddles and maybe even a tasty treat or two (I really like dried liver!).

When it comes to activities, count me in! I’m all about long walks at the park. I start off very enthusiastically (I’m still a young pup exploring the world), but give me a few minutes, and I’ll settle into a nice, easy pace. Snuggles are another favorite of mine. There’s nothing quite like being tucked in with the perfect blanket after a day of fun.

I’m a social butterfly who thrives on companionship. Whether it’s children to play with or another furry friend to call my BFF, I’m all in. I get a tad excited sometimes when meeting new people and dogs, and that may involve jumping up from time to time, but with a little training and experience I will get the rules of the meet and greet all figured out! I’m smart and very trainable.

Now, about that forever home I’ve been dreaming of – a big yard would be fantastic, or someone who’s committed to taking me on plenty of walks. I’d say I’m a medium energy kind of dog. And if my humans could be around more often than not, well, that would just be the icing on the cake as crate time is not really my favorite time. I’m quiet and if you let me roam around the house (with puppy favorite slippers safely stashed away), I keep the noise to a minimum.

Rene was born approximately June 25th, 2023 and will be a medium to large dog when fully grown.
