About Dixson
Hi, I’m Theia, (or you can call me Dixson). I’m here to tell you all about why I’d be the perfect addition to your home. I promise I’ll keep it short and sweet—just like me!
Let’s start with the basics. I’m a happy, well-mannered girl who loves to learn. Training time? Oh, I live for it! I know how to sit, stay, and I’m working on “lie down.” I even respect kitchen boundaries, even though the smells are verytempting. I may be a foodie, but I have self-control (mostly).
I’m completely house-trained and have proven that I can be left alone in the house without any trouble. No messes, no chewed furniture—just a good girl waiting patiently for her people to come home. And when you do, I’ll be so happy to see you!
I like meeting new people, though I can be a little shy at first. But don’t worry, I warm up quickly! Kids over 10? Perfect. I’d love to have a buddy to play with who can also remind me when to settle down. I get along with other dogs too, though I have opinions about a couple on my daily walks. What can I say? We all have our quirks.
Speaking of quirks, I’m a bit of a cuddle worm when invited. I’m independent enough to relax on my own, but if you want snuggles, I’m your girl! I love my walks (about 2-3km does the trick), but I also enjoy a good backyard play session. Oh, and did I mention I love the snow? Bring on winter!
I’d thrive in a quiet home with one or two adults, or in a family with older kids. Whether you’re active or more low-key, I’ll match your energy. I’m adaptable like that!
My foster family adores me, and honestly, they’d keep me if it weren’t for dog allergies. (I mean, can you believe that? So unfair!) But that just means you get the chance to bring me home instead.
So, what do you think? Are you ready for a smart, affectionate, and well-mannered companion? If so, I’m ready to meet you!
Love, Theia (Dixson)
