About Judson
Hello there, lovely humans!
I’m Judson, a sweet and easygoing older gent who’s on the lookout for a peaceful place to spend my golden years. You know, the kind where we can enjoy some relaxed strolls, cozy up together, and maybe take a nap or two (or three… I do enjoy a good snooze!). I’ve only been with my new foster family for a little while, but I’ve got a good sense of what makes me happy and what I’m looking for in my forever home.
I’ve had a bit of an adventure already. My previous foster home had kids, cats, and a whole lot of action, and while I did just fine there, it got to be a little overwhelming at times. I even lived with kittens! Let’s just say, I like my personal space, so if you’ve got other animals, it’s cool as long as they’re chill like me and not in my face all the time. I’m more of a “keep it mellow” kind of guy. I get along with my foster brother, a 30-pound dog, no problem, so I’m open to furry roommates as long as they respect my need for peace and quiet.
When it comes to people, I’m a pretty affectionate dude. I don’t bark a lot, though I might whine a bit if I know you’re leaving me for the day – but don’t worry, I settle down quickly. I’ve got no issues with the leash, and I love a good walk through the neighborhood. Two walks a day, and I’m good to go! My foster family says I’m on the low side of medium energy, so I won’t ask for too much in the way of exercise – just enough to keep my legs moving and my tail wagging. Speaking of tails, mine’s a little shorter these days, but don’t worry, it’s still there! I had a cancerous lump removed, but I’m all healed up now and feeling fine.
I’m looking for a home where things are on the quieter side – a place where I can relax, take it easy, and be with people who are home most of the time. I’ve had enough excitement for one lifetime, and now I’m ready for some calm, steady companionship. If you’re someone who enjoys walks, appreciates a loyal, loving companion, and has a cozy spot for me to lay my head, I think we could be a perfect match.
Let’s meet and see if we’re made for each other!
Love,
Judson
