About Bumper

Hi hi hiiii! My name is Bumper (yes, like a bumper car — which, sadly, I once was), but don’t worry, I’m not holding a grudge. I’m way too busy living my best puppy life to dwell on the past!

I’m a brave little peanut with a story that sounds like something out of a doggy drama — hit by a car at just 10 weeks old (rude!), underwent major surgery (three cheers for the vet team!), and now? I’m thriving. I still might need a little physio as I finish healing, but let me tell you — I can already zoom and wiggle with the best of them.

I’m sweet, smart, and squishy, with just enough puppy mischief to keep things interesting. I love meeting people — the tall ones, the little ones, and everyone in between. I might be a bit too enthusiastic for the tiniest humans (my nibble game is still under construction), but I’m always trying to be gentle. My motto is: If you smile at me, I will follow you anywhere.

I get along great with other dogs and am respectful of cats… unless they run. In which case I assume it’s a game and I must participate. If your cat is chill, we’ll be golden.

I’m doing my very best with housetraining (oopsies still happen!) and I’m learning all the things — my name, how to walk on leash, and how to sit once my leg is fully healed. I don’t use a crate, but I sleep in bed like a champion cuddler and I’m not destructive when left alone (unless peeing on the floor counts… oops again).

I’d be happiest in a home where I’m included in everyday life — errands? Let’s go. Patios? I’m in. Adventures? Count me in (once my vet says I’m cleared to party). I’m high energy, but I settle nicely with a toy or a chew, and I love to snuggle once I’m done bouncing.
