About Shasta

Meow meow! I am Shasta, the little black cat with a heart of gold.

I may seem shy at first, but once I feel safe and know my surroundings, I bloom and let my loving personality shine. I am a very soft girly, and I’m not just talking about my incredibly soft fur—I mean my aura too. I’m a calm and relaxed kitty who moves gracefully. Of course, I wouldn’t think about biting or scratching anyone. When something annoys me, I simply go my own way gracefully. What can I say? I’m just that type of sophisticated, well-mannered girly. Even though I haven’t met kids yet, I’m sure I’d do great with them.

Let’s talk about one of my favorite topics: cuddles. While I’m not a big fan of being picked up, I love getting pets, especially head scratches. I also enjoy belly rubs when I nap—they’re sooo dreamy. Trust me, once I trust you, I will purr my heart out for you.

I also like to play with my toys and my brother. I have one right now in my foster home, and we do well together. I’m sure that with slow introductions, I could make friends with other kitties too.
