About Camila

Hi there, I’m Camila – but you can call me Cami, Mad Scientist, or Little Lovebug (my foster family uses them all!). I’m a scruffy little mix of sweetness, silliness, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. I’ve been through some big changes in my young life, but with a gentle hand, kind words, and a cozy bed, I’m learning just how good life can be.

Let’s get the basics out of the way: I’m mostly house-trained, walk better on leash every day, and know how to sit—especially if you’ve got treats! I’m not a fan of crates (respectfully, no thank you), but I’m perfectly fine left loose with my doggy foster siblings when the humans go out for a bit. I don’t get into much mischief—unless you leave your shoes or the reclining chair lever unguarded… oops.

I love my dog friends and am especially obsessed with the wise old senior pup in my foster home. I’d be so happy to have a dog buddy in my forever family to play with and nap beside. I’m not a fan of cats, birds, or small critters—they seem more like snacks than friends (I blame my strong prey drive). And while I haven’t spent time with kids, I’m probably too bouncy and mouthy for little ones. I think teenagers and adults are more my speed—especially if they love giving belly rubs and sharing the couch.

My perfect day? Morning zoomies in a backyard, three walks a day for sniffari adventures, squeaky toy time (yes, please!), and cuddling on the couch or in bed with my humans. I LOVE toys, I LOVE food, and I LOVE you. I’m that velcro kind of pup who wants to be where you are, soaking up every ounce of love you’ve got to give.

I get startled easily and loud or sudden things can worry me, but I’m learning that this big, strange world isn’t so scary when you have someone to trust. I need a calm, patient home—somewhere I can keep blossoming into my goofy, affectionate self.
