About Estelle
Hi there, I’m Estelle — part gazelle, part goofball, all heart.
Let’s get this out of the way: I was absolutely born to run. Whether it’s zooming laps around the yard with a stick in my mouth or gracefully leaping off 4-foot retaining walls like it’s no big deal, movement is my love language. I’m strong, fast, athletic, and would thrive with someone who wants a jogging buddy, a hiking companion, or maybe even a future agility star. I’ve got the brains and the bounce.
But don’t worry — there’s more to me than just speed. I’m a real sweetheart with a gentle soul and a love for being close to my humans. I like being petted, talked to, and included in whatever you’re doing. I’m crate-trained, house-trained, and know some great manners, like sitting politely at street corners until you say it’s time to go. I’ve even picked out my own preferred bathroom spot in the yard — classy, right?
I’m still working on my leash manners because I get so excited about everything, but my foster family is helping me learn to slow down and focus. And when I’m mentally and physically stimulated, I’m a dream. Bored Estelle, though? She gets a little cheeky — I may or may not have turned your flower bed into a DIY landscaping project. (But look, I do enjoy some light gardening.)
I’d do best in an active home with a big yard and lots of space to run and explore. I can live with another dog, though I might need a slow intro to make sure we vibe. Small kids might get bowled over in my enthusiasm, but I’m not mean — just a bit of a lovable bulldozer. Cats? Not a good match. Tree branches? Absolutely yes.
If you’re looking for a dog who’s smart, spirited, loving, and ready to live life at full tilt (and then snuggle up after), I’m your girl.
With love, zoomies, and the occasional stick,
Estelle
