About Eva Gabor

Hi there! I’m Eva Gabor—Eva to my friends—and I can’t wait to tell you a little about myself. When you come to visit, you’ll see just how excited I am to meet new people. I’ll greet you at the gate with a wagging tail and likely some zoomies and flybys. It’s my way of showing how happy I am to have company. If you happen to have liver treats, well, let’s just say my enthusiasm will reach superstar levels!

Once I’ve gotten my wiggles out, I love giving tours of the yard. I’ll take you to my favourite spots for people-watching, bird-watching, and keeping those squirrels on their toes. I like to let loose and enjoy the fresh air, so a big yard for me to play in would be ideal. Hiking along with you would be a dream.

Inside, I’m the definition of polite—calm, gentle, and perfectly well-mannered. And when it’s bedtime? I patiently wait for the green light at the door before heading off to your bed for dreamland! I’m also a great passenger in the car, happily riding along wherever the adventure takes us.

I love making my people happy—it’s my absolute favourite thing in the world. Whether it’s praise, a belly rub, or a tasty treat, I soak it all up and keep coming back for more. I’m already a pro at “sit” and my recall in the yard is great. I’m food-motivated, but especially thrive on positive reinforcement and praise.

I do have one thing I’m working hard on: I haven’t had many chances to socialize with dogs, so when I see another pup my excitement skyrockets, and I can pull like a pro sled dog. With someone strong and sturdy on the leash, and with the time and dedication to help me build confidence around canine friends, I’m sure to start to relax and get better leash manners.
