About Havana
Dear Future Family,
Allow me to introduce myself—I’m Havana, also known as Panda, and I’m here to sweep you off your feet (possibly by gently nipping at your calves as we go down the stairs, but that’s just the Border Collie in me). I’m the perfect mix of adventure and affection, with a little bit of mischief thrown in for fun.
First, let’s talk about my favorite things: walks, sniffing every blade of grass, playing fetch like an absolute champion, and, of course, morning cuddles. I’ll happily sleep in your bed, but don’t worry—I don’t take up too much space (unless I feel like stretching). I’m also a pro at entertaining myself; if you leave me alone, I’ll likely just curl up somewhere cozy and nap until you return.
I get along with most people and dogs, though I prefer slow introductions with new four-legged friends. I’ve even been known to befriend cats and small critters—no prey drive here! I have excellent leash manners most of the time, but every now and then, I get excited and might lunge a little. My foster family uses a clicker to remind me to be polite, and I respond like the smart girl I am.
Now, full disclosure: I am a professional counter surfer and garbage inspector. If you leave snacks unattended, I willinvestigate—it’s just part of my charm. But don’t worry, I’m not destructive! I just like to make sure you didn’t leave anything delicious where it shouldn’t be.
My ideal home? A calm, quiet place with a yard where I can chase my beloved ball. I’d love a family that enjoys outdoor adventures but also appreciates a good snuggle session. Older kids would be great, and I could live with another dog as long as we have a proper introduction.
So, what do you say? Ready to meet your new best friend? I promise to be the perfect mix of fun, love, and just a tiny bit of mischief.
Tail wags and nose boops,
Havana
