About Kobe

King of the castle in his foster home, Kobe is still very much a puppy at heart. Sweet, social and extremely affectionate, he thrives on his fosters’ attention, and, being eager to please and easy to teach, is swiftly learning about “all things dog.” Already excelling at “sit” and “wait,” he enjoys his enrichment toys with homemade treats hidden inside, and loves going for three short and one long walk a day, improving his leash skills with each walk. Friendly when meeting strangers along the way and with new people in the house, he was the perfect dinner companion, gnawing contentedly on his chew stick, when his fosters recently took him to a patio restaurant. At ease in the car, he requires daily brushing to keep him clean and comfortable, and should do well on his upcoming “walk dates” with several other dogs. Sleeping soundly at night on a soft, faux fur mat beside his fosters’ bed, Kobe is housetrained, at work on mouthing and barking less, and needs an active family with a yard to perfect his manners, continue his socialization, complete his training, including his commands, and adore him fur-ever.
