About Kushi
Dear Future Family,
Hi! My name is Kushi (or Kush if we’re feeling casual), and I’m here to tell you why your life is about to get a whole lot more fun. You see, I am what some might call the total package—loving, playful, energetic, and ridiculously cute. I love people. I mean, I LOVE people. Big people, little people, any people! If you’ve got a heartbeat, I’m your biggest fan. And let’s not forget animals—I love them too! Sometimes they don’t quite love me back (I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t want to be my best friend immediately), so I’m learning to give my fellow furry pals a little space when they need it.
Now, let’s talk about my hobbies! I’m a very busy dog. I have so many things to do in a day—smelling every inch of the yard, playing with my toys, giving my humans all the love, and zooming around like a furry little tornado. I need lots of playtime and exercise, so a home with a yard and some active humans would be ideal. Got kids? Even better! I’m always up for a game, a cuddle, or just hanging out while they do their thing.
I’m still working on a few things—like this whole “walking nicely on a leash” thing (I get so excited!) and remembering that not everything is a chew toy. Also, being left alone? Not my favorite but I am working on crate training and am making improvements!. But if you make sure I’ve got some good distractions (and put anything tempting out of reach), I promise I’ll try my best to be a good girl while you’re gone.
Food is my love language, so training me is pretty easy if you’ve got some treats in hand. I know “sit” and “come,” and I’m getting better at the rest—especially when there’s a tasty reward involved. Oh, and one small thing to note: I have a very fast digestive system, so bathroom breaks right after meals are a must!
