About Lychee

Hi there! My name is Lychee, and I’m writing to you from the cozy corner of my foster home, curled up in my dog bed after a good play session and—of course—a well-earned nap. I’m a baby pup with a soft heart, curious eyes, and a growing personality that’s just waiting to blossom with the right people by my side.

At first, I can be a little shy—new things, new faces, even weird human contraptions like vacuums or cars can make me pause. But don’t let that fool you—I warm up quickly, and once I do, I’m all sweetness and snuggles. I love being held, petted, and showered with affection. I especially adore a good cuddle session after playtime, and if you’ve got a comfy spot for me to flop in, I’ll be your loyal lounge buddy forever.

Right now, I’m learning all the things puppies need to learn: where to potty, how to walk nicely on a leash, and what toys are okay to chew (versus, say, your shoes—I’m still figuring that part out). I might gently mouth your fingers like puppies do, but I’m not trying to be rude—I’m just exploring the world in the only way I know how. I’m also crate-trained, sleep soundly in my dog bed, and I’m working hard every day on becoming the best girl I can be. Luckily, I’m very food motivated, so a tasty treat will get you my full attention!

I get along well with other dogs and would absolutely love to have a confident doggy sibling or some playful neighbourhood pals to help me grow more confident and social. I live with a cat – I am is curious but mostly respectful, and am open to learning more if they’re nice to me! And while I haven’t been on many walks yet, I think I’d enjoy them with a bit of practice—especially if you bring snacks.

I’d do great in a calm, loving home—maybe with kids who are a bit older and gentle, a yard to explore, or a soft spot on the couch. Most of all, I need someone patient and kind who will help me grow into the wonderful companion I’m meant to be. In return, I’ll give you my whole heart, endless cuddles, and a lifetime of loyalty.
