About Missy

Hi I’m Missy, a very sweet, somewhat shy girl with a heart of gold. I have the most calm gentle demeanour, and am so lovable once you’ve gained my trust.
I was rescued a few years ago and unfortunately had to return as I was experiencing a lot of anxiety due to the new little humans in my home, I would never be mean, but living with young children  is not good for my mental health, and causes me anxiety. I do fine meeting polite children in the neighborhood, and would be OK with the occasional visiting child. Teens or no children would be more my demographic.
I do LOVE other dogs tho, I have excellent dog language and I get along with any dog I meet. I MUST have a dog sibling in my forever home, it’s a source of comfort for me. Ideally I would like another dog around my size who is friendly and gentle but still likes to play sometimes.
I really love going for my daily walks and hikes with my foster mom and 2 foster dog sisters and even to the private offleash parks where we can zoom and play chase. Oh! And I especially love swimming!
I also live with a bunch of cats in my foster home and we get along wonderfully.
My foster mom says I have been the ideal houseguest, I listen very well, am calm, quiet and well behaved, I never chew anything I shouldn’t, or make a mess… except for my floof… I do require regular brushing.
I am pretty much the ideal dog in the right environment, so if you have a nice dog looking for a new friend, and no children or plans to have any, then apply to adopt me today!
