About Mozzy

Hey there, future paw-rent! I’m Mozzy. I am bundle of joy that’s part Black Retriever, part Border Collie – basically, the canine equivalent of your favourite mix tape.

I am a middle-aged man who loves food, a good bully stick, lots of pets and quality time spent with my owner. I still have lots of energy to burn and love to get outside as much as possible when the weather permits it but when we get inside I’ll happily nap by your side.

I like to have my own space when things get chaotic, and I’ll find myself a quiet place to retreat to if it gets too rowdy for me. I’m kind and patient with kids and will give them lots of kisses and love when they give me a good belly rub.

Strangers? Bring ’em on! I’ve got this friendly curiosity thing down pat. I can get excited when I see another dog on leash but I’m always polite when I encounter them up close.

Living with a resident cat? Yeah, I have done that too and I don’t mind them.

Now, let’s talk skills. House trained? Check! Sit? Check! Lay down Double Check! I also know shake-a-paw, stay, down, and I’m working hard on “leave it”.

My perfect furever home is with someone who is home more often than away – if I can come along to work with you even better! I love a good car ride and if you can help me learn how to love a crate for the moments where you need to step away that would be great! Can I be your forever roommate?

Mozzy was born approximately November 2016 and is a large sized dog (60lbs).
