Meet Petal — the joyful, wiggly, love-soaked puppy who thinks life is one big adventure.
Petal is the kind of dog whose happiness radiates the moment you meet her. Tail wagging, body wiggling, eyes sparkling — she’s always thrilled to make a new friend. She adores people, so whether it’s men, women, or strangers she hasn’t met yet, Petal greets everyone with enthusiasm and an open heart. She hasn’t lived with kids, but she joyfully watches them with interest and would likely do wonderfully with older children who can handle her playful, puppy energy.
With other dogs, Petal is a total social butterfly. She LOVES to play and has never had a negative interaction. Big dogs, small dogs — as long as they enjoy her spirited, bouncy play style, she is all in. She’s also been neutral with cats and mostly indifferent to other animals, though she can’t resist chasing birds and squirrels with that classic puppy excitement.
Petal is a bright girl who has already made huge progress with her training. She’s nearly fully housetrained, responds to her name, and has stopped chewing things she shouldn’t. She’s crate trained, can be left alone for short periods, and is learning not to jump or nip when she gets excited. On walks, she’s a big sniffer and enthusiastic explorer, so leash manners are still a work in progress — but she’s responding well with consistency.
She’s brave in many ways, but still sensitive to sudden noises, bikes, scooters, and fast movements. When something surprises her, she checks in with her foster mom for reassurance, then bounces back quickly. She absolutely loves water, toys, cuddles, belly rubs, and wrestling games. She’s incredibly affectionate — hugs, kisses, snuggles, and curling up on the sofa are her love language.
Petal has lots of playful energy, enjoys 20–30 minute walks three times a day, and can keep up on 5k runs. But she also has an excellent “chill mode” — happy to nap, relax, or quietly chew her toys when it’s downtime.
Her dream home would be active, loving, and full of fun — whether that’s a family, a couple, or someone who wants a cheerful adventure buddy. A yard would make her wildly happy, and another playful dog would be a huge bonus. She thrives when she has movement, affection, and someone who enjoys her joyful, affectionate spirit.
Petal is an incredibly loving young dog with a huge heart and an eagerness to learn. With patience and guidance, she will grow into the most loyal, enthusiastic, cuddle-loving companion you could ever hope for. Anyone lucky enough to adopt her will get a lifetime of joy, laughter, and love.
