Hi there, future family — it’s me, Sparky!
Yep, the name fits. I’m a bright little guy with a happy heart, a spring in my step, and a whole lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a dog who enjoys being with his people, loves walks, snuggles, and sticking his face right into your chest for maximum cuddling efficiency… I think we might be a perfect match.

I adore humans — big ones, little ones, strangers, friends, whoever wants to say hi. I follow my people around the house like a loyal little shadow, and nothing makes me happier than curling up with someone who loves me back. I sleep in bed, I like being picked up, and I’m always ready for pets, ear rubs, or a gentle cuddle.

With dogs, I’m a bit more selective. I can be a very good boy… as long as I’m not sharing food, laps, or attention with another small dog who thinks they deserve top billing. With one of my foster siblings, I sometimes get protective and will growl or snap if I think she’s getting “my” person or “my” snack. I don’t mean to cause drama — I just really love my people. I could live with a calm, respectful dog, but I’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only.

Inside the house, I’m a chill dude. I play a bit, I nap a lot, and I love being part of whatever you’re doing. Outside, though? Oh yes, I’m energetic! Walks make me wiggle with excitement, and I’d love someone who enjoys getting out for daily outings. A yard would be awesome too, but not required.

I’m housetrained, learning the rules, and I’m not scared of anything so far. I can get a little sad when you leave but I settle quickly. Mostly, I’m just happy to be loved, included, and close to my people.

If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly companion who will greet you like sunshine every day, I’m ready to light up your life — literally. I’m Sparky, after all.
