Hey hey peeps! Sweetie here, looking for my perfect forever home.

As my name implies I’m an exceptionally affectionate, cuddly, and lovable young gal who is always up for new adventures!

I am the sort of pupper that likes to be included in all the fun activities you do and to be with you all of the time. I am very smart, easily trainable, and will learn new tricks in exchange for treats…boy do I love food and treats!

I love to go to the play park on my long leash and rip around chasing and wrestling with my dog friends. Once I’m tired out, there is nothing better than snuggling up on the couch and watching a movie.

Oh ya! My foster dog friends…I’ve lived with many dogs while in foster care, of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I get along great with all of them. I like meeting new dogs and can tell which ones wanna play with me and which ones don’t. Got cats?! Well that’s great too! I’ve lived with loads of cats, and know the ones to play and cuddle with, and to steer clear of the grumpy cats. I also currently live with a toddler; I was a little unsure of him at first but I’ve realized he’s prone to dropping food and has hands to pet me with so I’m good with him now too. I could live with dog savvy kids of any age.

I am young and still have lots to learn to grow from pupper to perfect dog companion. I am hard at work on my house training. I never chew furniture or things that aren’t my toys, however I do like to see if anything tasty has been left on the counters. My foster mom says my basic obedience is above average for a pupper my age, and that she can tell I’m super duper smart. She has taught me to sit, stay, lay down, and come. I know that my kennel is a really good place to sleep at night and I happily go in and don’t make a peep all night long however I don’t love being left alone when my foster mom goes to work. I would really prefer my family to be home more often than not.

My foster mom thinks I would do best with someone that has some dog experience (or is keen to learn) to guide me. She’s told me all about camping and it sounds awesome! I would love to try hiking and camping one day!

I seem shy at first but warm up quickly. Can you help me to understand that strangers aren’t so scary?

Sweetie was born approximately October 4, 2022.  She will likely be a medium sized dog when fully grown.
