About Tiki
Meet Tiki – A charming, playful pup who is ready to steal your heart with his beautiful eyes and silly personality! He’s young, full of energy, and has so much love to give, making him the perfect companion for an active family that enjoys adventure.
Tiki has a lot of wonderful traits. He’s fully house-trained and kennel-trained, so no need to worry about accidents or destructive behavior. In fact, he’s such a smart boy that when he sees his foster mama getting her shoes on, he heads straight to his kennel on his own! He is such a loyal and once he’s bonded with you. Tiki will want to be by your side at all times, whether you’re at home or out exploring the world. Speaking of adventures, this boy absolutely loves car rides — especially when he gets to hang his head out of the window.
When it comes to people, Tiki is friendly but a little cautious at first. He might bark when strangers approach, but give him a moment to sniff and warm up, and he’ll be more than happy to accept pets and affection. He’s especially good with older kids and adores the 11-year-old in his foster home. He’s also met many teenagers on our walks to school and always greets them with excitement.
Tiki is a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs. He gets along with all sizes, big or small, and is always eager to play. He does get a little excited when he sees squirrels or birds, so we’re working on redirecting that puppy enthusiasm. He hasn’t had the chance to meet cats, but with his friendly nature, we think he could adjust well.
At home, Tiki is fairly calm and quiet, and he’s quite content to hang out in his kennel during the day and sleeps either on his bed in my room or in his crate at night.
Tiki’s ideal forever home would be an active one, with a yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content. He’d thrive in a home with another dog who can keep up with his playful energy and show him the ropes. While he’s great with older children, Tiki’s excitement might be a bit much for little ones, so we think he’d do best with kids aged 10 and up.
Tiki is still a young pup, but he’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and most of all, ready to be your best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion, Tiki might just be the perfect match for you.
With love and tail wags,
Tiki
