About Triton
Dear Future Family,
The name’s Triton—yes, like the mighty sea god—and while I may not wield a trident (yet), I do command attention with my glorious coat, glowing from the inside out. Seriously, I’ve got this rich chocolate-and-caramel thing going on that turns heads wherever I go.
Let’s get a few things out of the way. I’m a big guy. A strong guy. A “don’t skip arm day if you’re holding my leash” kind of guy. I get pretty excited on walks, especially if there’s a squirrel, a garbage truck, or a yappy little dog on the other side of a fence. I’m working on it, okay? Leash manners don’t come overnight—but with your patience (and some solid treats), I’ll get there.
I’ve got a cat roommate right now, and we’re… figuring things out. I’ve been known to snap when the feline gets too close to my things. So a cat-free home might be easier on everyone, unless your cat is a confident Zen master. As for dogs? I might do alright with one my own size after a slow, respectful intro. Tiny ones that bark in my face? Not my vibe.
I’m housetrained (thank you very much), and while I don’t do inside stairs (those shiny floors are sketchy, okay?!), I zoom up and down outside stairs like a pro. I’m also not a fan of garbage bins, recycling trucks, or vet clinics—but who is?
I’m cool hanging out on my own for a bit, and I’m not a big barker unless something really needs my attention. I’ll sleep on your couch, accept belly rubs with majestic enthusiasm, and politely ask for butt scratches. I’ll also melt into you if you pet me and tell me I’m a good boy—bonus points if you toss me a cookie while you do it.
My ideal castle? A quiet home (no tiny humans, please), a yard or townhouse with a separate entrance, and a human or two who understand big, powerful dogs with gentle hearts. I’d thrive in a place where people like getting outside, where walks are daily, and where the snacks flow freely.
With love and a big wagging tail,
Triton
